Thai Massage offers an individualized rhythmic sequence performed on a mat on the floor. The Thai approach to massage, called Nuad Bo Rarn, is therapeutic and utterly relaxing, thereby activating the body's innate self-healing mechanism. As a practical application of the Buddhist principle of ‘Metta’ or Loving Kindness, Thai Massage is often a deeply meditative experience which can result in a profound release of mental and physical stress. Specific acupressure and meridian tracing can address a myriad of symptoms such as headaches, sciatica, chronic joint pain, hormonal disruptions and insomnia. As the points and energy lines start to release, assisted movements promote the flow and increase mobility. Both the giver and the receiver are fully and comfortably clothed; loose long pants and sleeves are recommended. No oils or creams are used.

Trace’s journey into the Yoga realm began in the early ‘90’s when her friend taught her the Sun Salutation on a logging road. Since then her study/practice has been largely supported and necessitated by ;) her 30+ year tree planting career. She moved to Revelstoke over 25 years ago, drawn to its mellow community, incredible wilds and sacred waters.

Trace has 2000+ hrs of yoga training in Hidden Language Hatha (Yasodhara Ashram), Astanga (David Swenson, Michael Stone, Pattabhi Jois, Nancy Gilgoff), Yoga Therapy (Mt Royal University) and Hormone Yoga Therapy (Dinah Rodrigues/Shakti Simone Lehner)

Trained in Thailand, Trace has enjoyed introducing people to the art and science of Thai Massage since 2012. Her sessions are personalized and often integrate yoga therapy and applied kinesiology.

Vipassana and myriad forms of energy medicine (Eden Energy Medicine, Touch For Health, EFT, Morphogenesis, Ho’oponopono) are well-used tools in her toolbox.

Trace is excited to expand her practice of Energy Psychology in Revelstoke and online in one-on-one and group formats. Having experienced the efficacy of these modalities, she wishes for everyone to be similarly empowered, breaking free of old healing paradigms! Her classes and treatments are offered with the intention to hold space for self guidance and provide tools to rise up to the vibration necessary to ride the tide of personal/planetary change with ease and grace.

I have always been passionate about taking care of people and creating meaningful experiences. My journey toward wellness started in 2021 when I completed my yoga teacher training, which opened my eyes to the impact mindful movement and self-care can have on overall well-being. I then decided to expand my knowledge through massage therapy. My approach combines compassion, intuition, and a deep understanding of the body.

I have a profound love for nature and the outdoors. Movement is a central part of my life — from yoga and hiking to snowboarding, skiing, and most recently, mountain biking. These passions keep me energized, grounded and inspired. I’m also very passionate about traveling and exploring wich allows me to grow personally and to learn about diverse communities’s lifestyle.

As a massage therapist, my desire is to help people restore balance, release tension, and reconnect with themselves. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for both therapeutic and relaxation massage.
